historic neighborhoods, DTLA is a place that is filled with world-class hotels, restaurant, luxury shops, spectacular cultural attractions, and everything else that indicates a vibrant civilization while more and more species of our own are digging through the garbage bin for food everyday.

A terracotta warrior from 210 BCE accidentally enters modern Downtown Los Angeles, strolling through the early morning streets before the metropolis wakes. The Ruan, an ancient Chinese instrument, is the warrior and the city is the electronic textures. The warrior and the city are stunned and fascinated by the unknowns, beauty, and confusion of each other. Based on the traditional Chinese pipa music “ Song of Frontier'' which depicts the Han princess Wang Zhaojun’s longing for her country and family. Zhaojun was known as one of the “Four Beauties” of ancient China. She was sent by emperor Yuan to May Chanyu Huhanye of Xiongnu Empire in order to establish friendly relations with the Han Dynasty through marriage.
